UK Grand Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed - Judge John Harrison

Yoda took both his kittens with him to the show - Barbecco Obi Wan and Barbecco Amidala they both won first and Best of Breed under Jackie Reed.

His beautiful daughter Sunjade Tickled My Fancy owned by Celia Simpson added the icing on the cake when she achieved BEST KITTEN IN SHOW!!

What a very exciting day for the Barbecco's at this lovely show. How great to have the Cambria show back under the excellent managership of Elaine, John and Lisa.

Grand Champion Westgarth Foolsgold gained his third Imperial under John Hansson yet another grand CC and was Best in Show Oriental Adult only beaten on the day by his gorgeous red son BARBECCO OBI WAN.

OBI WAS BEST ORIENTAL KITTEN, AND BEST OVERALL ORIENTAL THEN BLESS HIM MADE HIS WAY UNDER THE EXPERT EYE OF JOHN HANSSON TO RESERVE BEST IN SHOW!!!

Not forgetting Obi's lovely chocolate tortie sister BARBECCO AMIDALA who was 1st and Best of Breed, all red card day and still unbeaten.

A huge thank-you to all their judges on the day who held them in such high regard - John Hansson, Brenda Pearce, Perri Hutchison, Lynne Studer and Janet Starr.

SWCCC SHOW 26/09/09

Another exciting day at Paignton Grand Champion Westgarth Foolsgold gained his second Imperial, Seventh Grand Challenge finished the day as Best In Show Oriental Adult.

He took the Kittens:

Barbecco Obi Wan - First Open, BOB all red card day and finally Best Oriental Kitten in Show.

Three Counties Show - 15/08/09

Grd Champion Westgarth Foolsgold 37K (Yoda) gained his first Imperial, the Grand CC Best of Breed, all red card day finally being awarded Best in Show Oriental Adult. His kittens, Barbecco Obi Wan - 1st Open and Best of Breed, all red card day and finally Best in Show Oriental Kitten. Barbecco Amidala - 1st Open & Best of Breed, one first and two seconds to her brother! a situation she quickly rectified on arrival home!

Grand Champion Westgarth Foolsgold 37K - Grand CC, Best of Breed, two firsts. We took his kittens Obi Wan and Amidala to their first show. 18 weeks old they both won their open class and were awarded Best of Breed both having all red card days, Obi Wan finally going on to become BEST ORIENTAL KITTEN in show.

A huge thank you to Jackie Reed, Di Brown and Diana Harper - his judges on the day YODA IS NOW - GRAND CHAMPION WESTGARTH FOOLSGOLD.

His old Mum Catrina Simpson arrived unexpectedly from West Yorkshire (pictured here with her boy) to share the most exciting day as himself became Best Oriental Adult, Best Overall Oriental and finally in the last three for Best in Show under the scrutiny of BIS judge Grace Denny.

Grand Champion Barbecco Stay With Me (Cooper) gained his fourth Grand & BOB (seven lovely boys in the class).

Champion Barbecco Wallisimpson gained her second Grand, 1st CC and BOB plus an all red card day.

Premier Barbecco Ruby-Star, Coopers lovely daughter gained her third Premier Certificate.

Barbecco Redford Shine, Ruby's gorgeous brother 1st PC and BOB.

Champion Westgarth Foolsgold 37K - Cinnamon Oriental

Valentine's Day at the Croydon Show saw Yoda this stunning boy made up to Champion at his third adult show, he had a all red card day and Best Oriental Adult. Our grateful thanks to his judges the three graces - Mary Kalal, Di Harper & Di Brown. Yoda will not be 12months old until 23.03.09 his old Mum is ecstatic Miss Catrina Simpson (Westgarth Siamese and Orientals) also his Granma Kathy Debowska of (Metexa Siamese & Orientals) Thank you to both these lovely dedicated breeders for making it possible, especially Catrina for trusting us to give him a wonderful life here in Cornwall.

Barbecco Ruby Star - First PC and Best of Breed @ West Country Cat Club Show 17th January 09.

What at great start at her first adult show congratulations to her lovely Mum and Dad Cheryll and Tris who love and care for her and her stunning brother Redford Shine. Determined to have the limelight & Best of Breed she had walloped him on his ear ensuring he could not be there. Watch this space to see their next show!

Westgarth Foolsgold (Yoda) West Country Cat Club Show Saturday 17th January 09

All red card day for our beautiful boy, First and Best of Breed, going on to be Best Oriental Adult thanks to his judges Mary Kalal, Mrs J Jones and Mrs P Hutchinson.
He took his friends with him Champion Barbecco Stay With Me and Champion Edingorse Charlotte who both gained their Reserve Grand C.C's - Charlotte also winning her Open Class and Best of Breed.

Supreme Show 2008

Westgarth Foolsgold our fabulous cinnamon man eight months old won First and Best of Breed thanks to his judge John Harrison who said:

A promising kitten of very good overall type, ears good size shape and set, very good top of head.
Good overall profile, correct chin, good bite. Eyes good shape, set and colour.
A very attractive lad shown in excellent condition with excellent temperament.

Champion Edingorse Charlotte (Ruby) gained the GRAND thanks to her judge Janet Tonkinson, 8 CC's, 2 res Grd CC's and 2 Grand CC's. She said.........

A very alert young lady with nicely balanced head with large well set ears and straight profile.
Oriental set green eyes, rich red coat, short and close lying sound to the roots.
Good temperament and condition. Ruby is now four and a half and all this success despite her maternal duties!

Congratulations to Barbecco Lillibet at the Siamese Cat Club Show where she had a very successful day!


What a wonderful day out at the SWCCC Show in Taunton. Three of the kittens from the last two litters were also there to fly the Barbecco Flag. Congratulations to their new owners on such a great start to their show careers.

What a great day out at the Kernow Cat Club Championship Show Saturday 5th April, 2008, our Lovely cinnamon girl Sunjade Strelitzia had a all red card day at her first show going on to be Best Oriental Kitten in show. What a great start to her show career.

Champion Barbecco Stay With Me (Cooper) the man about the house gained his first Grand Challenge Certificate in a large class, thanks to his judge Di Brown.

Champion Barbecco Wallisimpson - Thanks to her judge Di Brown, Wallis gained her first Grand Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed.

What a wonderful day out it became for two of our Stars - 22hrs away from home but both Wallis and Cooper purred their way through the day enjoying all the attention from the admiring visitors.

Ruby gained yet another Challenge Certificate and in a class of five lovely girls was awarded the Reserve Grand Challenge Certificate.

Grand Premier Pashtan Diesel (Morgan) - SWCCC September 06 Best of Variety Oriental Neuter.

Morgan was the second Pashtan boy to join us nearly five years ago he has a superb temperament has enjoyed a very successful show career but is now happy to hand this role over to the youngsters.

Thank you Sue Miller for the love of my life and all the help and encouragement you have given us.
