Ruby has two Grand Challenge Certificates and five Reserve Grand Challenge Certificates. These were gained in the days when it was normal to see five lovely girls in the Grand Class at a show. She also gained eight Challenge certificates along the way. Her temperament and type are so typical of the offspring of her illustrious late dad Grand Champion Johpas Trickortreat, bred by Jackie Reed and owned by Lynne Studer. Rufus was very special and Ruby is just one of the many lovely cats he sired. She is of course big sister to Edingorse Summer Solstice.

Her own maternal duties were few and far between so finally we decided she should retire to roll in the sunshine and just be granny to all the kittens, a job she takes very seriously.
