Marian says, “My aim as a breeder is to produce healthy, confident, loving kittens who will adjust to a happy life in their new homes. It is wonderful if they are of show quality and have the temperament to enjoy life on the show bench.
“Barbecco kittens will usually be ready to leave home at around 14 weeks. They will be GCCF registered, fully vaccinated and insured for four weeks with Petplan. We provide a five generation pedigree, diet sheet, samples of food that they are used to and a cosy blanket.
“We do not sell kittens on the active register unless you are personally known to us.
“Should you wish to be considered for a kitten and check availability please e-mail us with your contact details, stating preferred breed, sex and colour. Could you please also indicate if you wish to show.
“Siamese and Oriental cats crave love, attention and your company. Consequently they are not suited to owners who work full-time unless they have other feline company.
“Our kittens usually only go to indoor homes or where owners are prepared to construct a suitably enclosed area in their garden.
“You will be asked to complete a contract at the time of purchase. This states that if for any reason you are unable to continue to care for your cat, it should be:
(a) returned to us, or
(b) only be suitably rehomed with our full consent.
“We do not sell kittens to families with very young children and ask that you respect this.”
